The Lord Selkirk School Division is one of several divisions working together with First Nation Education Authorities on this pilot project. It is designed to increase access to post-secondary education for high school Aboriginal students in Manitoba.
The program has three mains objectives:
1. Increase retention rates among Aboriginal high school students;
2. Completion of high school graduation requirements; and
3. Enrollment into a post-secondary education program.
