We are in the ‘Home Stretch” of the Grade 4 program. I hope to cover the following topics during May and June:
LANGUAGE ARTS: complete the novel study of Charlotte’s Web, handwriting, spelling, creative writing, journals,T.W.A.S., home-reading, Show and Share
MATHEMATICS: multiplication and division, area, prisms, symmetry
SOCIAL STUDIES: complete The North, history of Manitoba
SCIENCE: complete the Sound unit, Rocks and Minerals
FRENCH: complete the animal unit, rooms in a house, numbers
Please continue to read your child’s planner and sign it daily as this is a way of keeping you informed of school activities.
