There are 21 students in our classroom! Our goal is to provide a healthy learning environment so that each student can work and achieve to their full potential. Please feel free to call me at school (754-2240) if you have any questions, comments or concerns. We would like to work with you, as a team, to ensure that your child has a successful and enjoyable year!
Posted Rules
-Be Safe: Make safe choices.
Think before you act.
-Be Respectful: Treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
Respect people and property.
Listen when others are speaking.
-Be Responsible: Be prepared for class.
Get your planner signed daily.
Positive Recognition:
To encourage students to follow the rules in our classroom, we will recognize appropriate behaviour with praise, special priviledges, and notes or phone calls home.
Consequences:
1st time a student breaks a rule - verbal warning
2nd time a student breaks a rule - Your card is moved into the yellow card. 2 mins of recess is lost.
3rd time a student breaks a rule - student stays inside during recess
and fills out a behaviour journal which gets signed by a parent.
4th time a student breaks a rule - student is sent to the office
*Note: For serious infractions, students will be sent directly to the office.
