Book Reports
Students are asked to complete a book report by the end of each month. There are 6 different stages to the book report which all have due dates spread throughout the month so students can work on the final report in small steps. These include character, setting, plot, problem, solution, and final report.
French
We will begin with Grade 6 structures and vocabulary that teach students how to greet each other, plus give students the ability to identify objects in our classroom and in the school during our“l’ecole” unit. Skills such as listening and answering personal questions (your name, age, address, etc) will especially be practiced. Much of French is oral, so the more children speak, the better.
