Healthy snacks can be challenging especially if you have picky eaters. With a balanced school day it is important to send your child with something that is going to keep them going throughout the morning and last until lunch time.

Kids need at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday. These are easy to wash and throw into a lunch kit. Some examples are carrots, apples, bananas, grapes, broccoli or celery. If you want to make it fun get creative. Make a grape worm, fruit kabobs or broccoli characters.
