We are excited to launch a project that will provide every Grade 5 student in Lord Selkirk School Division with their very own Micro:Bit!
This initiative is designed to help students build foundational programming skills, spark interest in STEM subjects, and enhance critical thinking and problem-solving abilities—all while fostering creativity through project-based learning.
Yesterday, Ms. Giesbrecht’s class at Mapleton School received their Micro:Bits, and the excitement was evident!
💻🎉 The students can’t wait to start exploring and learning with these incredible tools. This marks the beginning of an exciting tech journey for them!
A big thank you to the Selkirk and District Community Foundation (SDCF) for their generous grant, making this all possible! 🙏
The best part? Students will get to keep their devices, take them home, and continue using them for years to come.
Thanks again SDCF, your support is truly making a difference! 🌟
