We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire LSSD community for your overwhelming generosity during our donation drive for the 2025 Manitoba Wildfire evacuees. Your compassion and support have made a meaningful difference, and we are currently working diligently to ensure these much-needed items are delivered to those who need them most.
At this time, we are no longer accepting donations through our local drive. However, the need continues,
and we encourage those who still wish to help to support the Canadian Red Cross. Donations to the 2025 Manitoba Wildfires Appeal can be made:

In response to the ongoing wildfires impacting communities across the province, LSSD is collecting donations to support evacuees in need. If you’re able to help, we invite you to drop off donated items at your school — a designated collection area will be set up near the front entrance.

Many families across Manitoba have been displaced and impacted by the ongoing wildfires. Let’s show them they are not alone. The LSSD community is collecting donations to support those in need.

Suggested Donations (new or gently used):
🛍️ Non-perishable food items
🧼 Feminine hygiene products
🧥 Clothing (all ages/sizes, clean & in good condition)
🍼 Diapers and baby wipes
🍼 Infant formula and baby food
🧴 Toiletries (toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant)
🧣 Blankets and towels
📦 Any other essentials — anything helps!
