💙🧡 September is Suicide Prevention Month.
Lord Selkirk School Division stands with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and reminding our community that support is always available.
Together, we can create safe spaces where conversations about mental health are welcomed and valued.
If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Help is available:
📞 Call or text 988 – Suicide Crisis Helpline (available 24/7).

This guide is another way to make a difference. It’s a practical tool. It’s shareable. And it gets you ready for when someone needs you most.
Inside your guide, you’ll find:
• What to say (and not say) when someone reaches out for help
• How to be a “trusted person”
• How to help create a plan to keep yourself or your person safe
Please join us in ensuring no one struggles alone.
