Our PAC group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the school staff room. All parents are welcome at every meeting. We do not do a lot of events throughout the year nor do we do any fundraising. Time commitment to our PAC is a monthly meeting and then volunteering at the few other events if possible. Events we do throughout the year include: 

  • September – hot dog BBQ during meet the teacher
  • February – teacher appreciation
  • May – run the canteen for the track and field day
  • June – liaison to the Grade 9 farewell  

Money raised through the PAC (hot dog days and track and field canteen) is returned to the school by sponsoring the student of the month; the breakfast program and the grade 9 farewell. Any money left during the year is given back to the school through wish list items provided by the administration and teachers.

We are currently looking for volunteers for the following : 

Track meet - help set up and run the canteen. We start at 9:00 a.m. and are finished by 3:00 p.m. Any amount of time you can offer is greatly appreciated. Track meet is usually held the second Tuesday of May at the high school. 

Grade 9 farewell – we are looking for someone to chair this event along with volunteers to help organize.
